Almond Cocoa Crunch Bars




It recently dawned on me that many “energy” bars and vegan “treat” bars contain several fillers and or multiple unnecessary sweeteners. In which case, can perhaps be harmful to our bodies.

I always enjoy pure and wholesome foods, so the ingredients in this latest “indulgence” is sugar free. Meaning that the only sweetness comes from the organic dried fruits.

& The best part is, you don’t need to sacrifice taste or energy levels.
These bars get the job done!

All you need is a food processor (ideal), or a high speed blender.
Yields about 5/6 fudge wholesome bars.

Base:
12-14 pitted medjool dates
1/4 cup gluten free oats or fluffed grain/seed of choice
Dash of cinnamon powder
Dash of pink Himalayan Sea Salt
1 handful of raw almonds
1 hefty scoop of almond butter

Fudge Topping:
10 Black Mission Figs
1/2 to 1 cup of raw cocoa powder (depends on your preference)
2-3 pitted medjool dates
1 TBS of coconut oil
Splashes of water or coconut water to mix


Top with sliced almonds & cinnamon!
